    Position Overview:

    The Senior IT Manager will work closely with leadership to develop processes, solutions and best practices documentation for the IT infrastructure; both locally and in conjunction with Corporate HQ. This position will represent the IT department in interacting with third-party data providers and partners on matters that often require coordination of activity across organizational lines to build and maintain robust and scalable data solutions. In addition, the position will supervise Junior IT staff and will support the IT environments for approximately 100-150 people located in Seattle, Victoria, Canada. Miami and the Bahamas. It will also work on projects directed by Corporate.

    Summary of Key Responsibilities (not limited to the following):

      Manage IT and computer systems

    • Implement group policies and ensure compliance with Corporate HQ
    • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of IT and electronic data processing
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures for handling of our data and for computer systems operations and development in coordination with Corporate HQ
    • Meet with managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines
    • Manage IT personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks, and information systems

    Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software

    • Troubleshoots hardware, software, and network OS
    • Be familiar with all hardware/software
    • Be familiar with network OS
    • Provide orientation to new users of existing technology
    • Train staff about potential uses of existing technology
    • Provide individual training and support request
    • Provide recommendations about accessing information and support
    • Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources

    Monitor and maintain technology to ensure maximum access

    • Troubleshoot all technology issues
    • Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
    • Make recommendations about purchase of technology resources
    • Research current and potential resources and services
    • Provide network access to all staff
    • Install work stations
    • Connect and set up hardware
    • Load all required software
    • Provide network accounts and passwords as required
    • Monitor security of all technology
    • Install and maintain all passwords
    • Input and maintain IP addresses
    • Advise staff of security breach and/or change in password or security status
    • Ensure installation of lock out programs
    • Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate
    • Ensure hardware is stripped and secured before disposal
    • Respond to critical support issues outside of work hours as needed
    • Perform other related duties as required

    Qualifications and Skills Required:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline.
    • Industry certifications indicating skill level and proficiency preferred: MCITP, SonicWall, and/or CCNA.
    • Proficient with MySQL.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience
    • Proficient with RHEL5 & 6 Linux or CentOS 7
    • Knowledge of administration of Wildfly Application Server
    • Server Virtualization via VMWare and ESXi
    • Windows/Linux operating systems

    • Manage Barracuda Backup
    • Exchange Server 2010
    • Cisco switching and routing

    Position Overview:

    The Project Manager is responsible for cultivating strategic partner relationships, developing new product, managing existing product performance, and supporting Clipper’s overall strategic goals and objectives. This role involves product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with sales and marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. This individual will report to the Director of Product Development & Strategy and work closely across departments, including reservations, sales, and marketing teams.

    Summary of Key Responsibilities (not limited to the following):

    • Regularly analyze performance of Clipper Vacations products and revenue, generate relevant reports and action plans
    • Identify and assist Director with developing new product opportunities that have potential to deliver additional revenue
    • Manage current product performance; Identify and communicate product gaps and needs, by analyzing revenue data and our customer experience
    • Support with annual product contracting and pricing
    • Work with Director to launch new Clipper Partner program
    • Maintain existing partner communication and relationships, cultivate new partnerships
    • Coordinate with Marketing team on implementing product updates and new product content into website
    • Represent and promote Clipper brand at tourism trade events and consumer shows in the U.S. and Canada, as required

    Qualifications and Skills Required:

    • 5-7 years of product marketing experience (travel and tourism experience preferred)
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Strong excel and data analysis proficiency
    • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of management and leadership
    • Sound strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to anticipate marketing trends and turn insights into action

    • Excellent relationship, partner and collaboration skills
    • Travel/Hospitality experience preferred, but not required

    Reports to: Vessel Superintendent

    Location: Seattle, WA, Pier 69

    Clipper Navigation is seeking a seasonal USCG DDE licensed engineer to sail on board our high speed catamaran vessels. This position is a seasonal part-time job, with guaranteed employment through September. Duties of the on-board engineer include monitoring, operation and if necessary, troubleshooting of various systems on the vessel. Knowledge of high speed diesels, HVAC, Hydraulics and Basic Electricity id desirable. Vessel operating engineer is supported by shore side engineering group and no overnight stays are required.

    Summary of Key Responsibilities (not limited to the following):

    • Full implementation of the Company Safety Management System (SMS)
    • Ensures the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the vessel’s main propulsion and the following systems: power generation and management, vessel control, automation, fuel management, bilge and ballast, firefighting, refrigeration and HVAC, potable water, grey water, sewage, communication, electronic navigation, and deck machinery
    • Tracks and reports the consumption of fuel, water, lube oils, hydraulic oils, spare parts, and supplies
    • Monitor vessel seaworthiness, crew and passenger safety, environmental protection

    Qualifications and Skills Required:

    • USCG license- DDE unlimited or Third Assistant unlimited
    • MTU and/or water jet experience (preferred)
    • Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, basic electrical, basic HVAC
    • Citizen of the U.S. or have the legal right to be employed in the U.S.
    • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
    • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
    • Ability to travel regionally and in Canada
