    Position Overview:

    Reporting directly to the co-CEOs, the Executive Assistant (EA) provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The EA serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the office of the CEO. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is results-driven and collaborative. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the board of directors and senior management teams; organizes and coordinate executive outreach and external relations efforts, and oversees special projects. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

    Summary of Key Responsibilities (not limited to the following):

    • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the co-CEOs including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
    • Communicates directly, and on behalf of the co-CEOs, with Board members, staff, and others, on matters related to co-CEO’s strategic business initiatives.
    • Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the co-CEOs office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff.
    • Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the co-CEO’s ability to effectively lead the company.
    • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

    Qualifications and Skills Required:

You will work on a variety of design projects across digital and print advertising production, marketing landing pages, social media, website and online magazine graphics, brand identity, brochure layout and design, signage and other projects. The role will be part of Clipper’s marketing team and report up to the VP of Marketing.

    Summary of Key Responsibilities (not limited to the following):

    • Lead seasonal campaign creative planning and visual execution (website graphics, web banners ads, HTML emails, print and digital ads)
    • Manage and execute against all internal design requests across departments
    • Manage and maintain brand standards across all visual executions
    • Manage all advertising production cycle as well as direct coordination with media outlets for advertising placement submission
    • Maintain a proactive creative mindset with new design concepts, graphics and layouts
    • Coordinate with other freelance graphic designers, printers and other partners/vendors
    • Amend final design with submitted feedback to gain full approval
    • Work with a wide range of graphic design software and leading technologies (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, WordPress, HTML5, Flash, etc.)
    • Proficient at time, deadlines and budget management/cost estimates

    Qualifications and Skills Required:

    • 5-7 years of graphic design experience (travel and tourism experience preferred)

    Position Overview:

    As part of the finance team, the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. This position will be spearheading the Company’s financial quarterly forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. S/he will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support ‘optimal’ business decision making. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

    Summary of Key Responsibilities (not limited to the following):

    • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
    • Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools

    Position Overview:

    The Senior IT Manager will work closely with leadership to develop processes, solutions and best practices documentation for the IT infrastructure; both locally and in conjunction with Corporate HQ. This position will represent the IT department in interacting with third-party data providers and partners on matters that often require coordination of activity across organizational lines to build and maintain robust and scalable data solutions. In addition, the position will supervise Junior IT staff and will support the IT environments for approximately 100-150 people located in Seattle, Victoria, Canada. Miami and the Bahamas. It will also work on projects directed by Corporate.

    Summary of Key Responsibilities (not limited to the following):

      Manage IT and computer systems

    • Implement group policies and ensure compliance with Corporate HQ
    • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of IT and electronic data processing
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures for handling of our data and for computer systems operations and development in coordination with Corporate HQ
    • Meet with managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines

    Reports to: Vessel Superintendent

    Location: Seattle, WA, Pier 69

    Clipper Navigation is seeking a seasonal USCG DDE licensed engineer to sail on board our high speed catamaran vessels. This position is a seasonal part-time job, with guaranteed employment through September. Duties of the on-board engineer include monitoring, operation and if necessary, troubleshooting of various systems on the vessel. Knowledge of high speed diesels, HVAC, Hydraulics and Basic Electricity id desirable. Vessel operating engineer is supported by shore side engineering group and no overnight stays are required.

    Summary of Key Responsibilities (not limited to the following):

    • Full implementation of the Company Safety Management System (SMS)
    • Ensures the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the vessel’s main propulsion and the following systems: power generation and management, vessel control, automation, fuel management, bilge and ballast, firefighting, refrigeration and HVAC, potable water, grey water, sewage, communication, electronic navigation, and deck machinery
    • Tracks and reports the consumption of fuel, water, lube oils, hydraulic oils, spare parts, and supplies
    • Monitor vessel seaworthiness, crew and passenger safety, environmental protection

    Qualifications and Skills Required:

    • USCG license- DDE unlimited or Third Assistant unlimited
    • MTU and/or water jet experience (preferred)
    • Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, basic electrical, basic HVAC
    • Citizen of the U.S. or have the legal right to be employed in the U.S.
    • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
