Key Responsibilities for Cruise Attendant

  • Provide exceptional customer service onboard while creating amazing memories for our guests 
  • Sell Clipper products while underway: food, beverage, sightseeing tours, gift shop and duty free.

  • Luggage handling
  • Vessel cleaning and maintenance
  • Supervisors: oversee guest comfort, safety, and a great host for up to 543 guests onboard; demonstrate leadership with your team and act as coach and mentor; resolve guest and personnel problems with little oversight; public announcements; ability to multi-task in fast paced environment; oversee vessel inventory; act as liaison between yourself and Captain, Port management, tour partners, and Customs/Immigration

Key Requirements

  • No DUI/DWI, negligent driving, or felony convictions (this will disqualify your entry into Canada)

  • Maintain an organized warehouse
  • Janitorial duties of the facility
  • Preparing the passenger boarding area for loading and unloading operation
  • Luggage handling, operating pallet jacks and electrical hoists to swing the luggage bins on/off the vessels
  • Other tasks to help ensure the boats sail on time with all the supplies they need to provide our passengers with a First-Class service
  • Handling mooring lines – No dockhand experience?  We’ll train you!
