Reservation Agent (Seattle-Based)
Position Overview:
FRS Clipper seeks enthusiastic, upbeat individuals who share our passion and love of the Pacific Northwest and want to join our talented team of Reservations Agents. This position guides guests in planning, booking, and managing reservations for FRS Clipper transportation as well as hotel/tour package trips across the Pacific Northwest destinations served by FRS Clipper!
We are seeking applicants with experience as: Reservation Agent; Guest Services; Front Desk Agent; Concierge; Travel Agent; Call Center Agent; or Sales Coordinator
Salary and Benefits:
$18.00-20.00 hourly base rate, plus commission.
**This is not a cold-calling position – you will be answering reservation phones and assisting guests in person.**
Key Responsibilities:
- Take a high volume of calls from guests and create custom vacation packages and reservations
- Provide outstanding customer service assisting guests in-person with reservations, ticketing, and check-in prior to travel
- Inform guests about important rules and regulations for international travel and confirm identification and travel documents
- Provide accurate local knowledge and insider tips for guests asking for recommendations, and trip planning guidance (training will be provided by FRS Clipper)
- Support day-to-day administrative and operations duties to keep the reservations office operating smoothly
Requirements:
- Read, write, and speak English clearly and fluently
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer service experience preferred
- Professional sales experience with a multi-line phone or in a call center setting (ideal)
- Travel or hospitality experience and/or travel and insider local knowledge of the Pacific Northwest
- Foreign language proficiency is a plus
- Legal right to be employed in the U.S.
- No DUI/DWI, negligent driving, or felony convictions (this will disqualify your entry into Canada)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (luggage handling)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must have proof of COVID-19 vaccination

Over-Night Custodian / Dockhand / Baggage Handler (Seattle-Based)
Position Overview:
FRS Clipper runs a high-speed, passenger only catamaran ferry with daily service between Seattle, Washington and Victoria, British Columbia, as well as Whale Watching Tours. We operate year-round, with a very busy peak season from April through October and the holidays. We are located downtown Seattle at Pier 69 on the waterfront.

We have an opening for a Full-Time, Overnight Custodian. We are looking for candidates with one year experience in cleaning and janitorial work. As part of the Shore Support team, you would play an important role towards Clipper’s goal: creating amazing memories for our guests!
Summary of Key Responsibilities (not limited to the following):
- The majority of your responsibility will be detailed cleaning of the boats while docked overnight, from top to bottom, including disinfecting, sanitizing, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, wet-mopping, floor waxing, empty trash/recycling to collection bins and prepping seats with magazines/menus for our passengers.
- Cleaning of the Clipper Terminal
- Preparing the passenger boarding area for loading and unloading operation
- Luggage handling, operating pallet jacks and electrical hoists to swing the luggage bins on/off the vessels
- Handling mooring lines – No dockhand experience? We’ll train you!
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Ability to remain awake and alert throughout the night shift
- Superior record for punctuality and reliability
- Exceptional time management with little supervision
- An eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleaning
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic
- Bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, pushing / pulling up to 75 pounds manually
Compensation:
$22.00/hr with occasional overtime

Warehouse / Baggage handler / Dockhand / Cleaner (Seattle-Based)
Position Overview:
FRS Clipper runs a high-speed, passenger only catamaran ferry with daily service between Seattle, Washington and Victoria, British Columbia, as well as Whale Watching Tours. We operate year-round, with a very busy peak season from April through October and the holidays. We are located downtown Seattle at Pier 69 on the waterfront.
Seeking applicants with experience as: shore support, warehouse, shipping and receiving, baggage handler, custodian.
Summary of Key Responsibilities (not limited to the following):
- The Shore Support team plays an important role toward Clipper’s goal: creating amazing memories for our guests. This is an active position that will keep you moving throughout your shift.
- Filling vessel stock provisions
- Receiving cargo and other shipments
- Keeping track of shoreside inventory
- Ordering consumable supplies
- Maintain an organized warehouse
- Janitorial duties of the facility
- Preparing the passenger boarding area for loading and unloading operation
- Luggage handling, operating pallet jacks and electrical hoists to swing the luggage bins on/off the vessels
- Other tasks to help ensure the boats sail on time with all the supplies they need to provide our passengers with a First-Class service
- Handling mooring lines – No dockhand experience? We will train you!
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Superior record for punctuality and reliability
- Exceptional time management with little supervision
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines independently and as a team
- Basic computer and math knowledge
- Microsoft Office experience including basic Excel
- Flexible and willingness to adapt to an ever-changing environment
- Bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, pushing / pulling up to 75 pounds manually
Compensation:
