Mid-Sound Fisheries

SR3
Sealife Response, Rehabilitation, and Research (SR3) operates the Pacific Northwest’s only dedicated marine animal hospital—and one of just 32 in the United States. Since opening in 2021, SR3 has become a critical resource for animals in need, treating 60 to 100 patients each year. Many of those patients are vulnerable harbor seal pups, often just hours old, recovering from injuries caused by boat strikes, dog encounters, or separation from their mothers. SR3 merchandise that supports the organization’s work is available on our Emerald Clipper Whale Watching vessel—this includes shirts, posters, and water bottles!
