FRS Clipper’s fleet consists of the high-speed catamaran, the Victoria Clipper V, which is used for passenger-only ferry service between Seattle and Victoria, BC in a little less than three hours, as well as the San Juan Clipper, our Wildlife & Whale Watching vessel.

Green Marine

FRS Clipper is a proud participant of Green Marine, a voluntary environmental certification program that addresses key environmental issues through 12 performance indicators including greenhouse gases, air emissions, spill prevention, waste management, environmental leadership, and community impacts – some applicable to shipping activities, others to landside operations. Participants are shipowners, ports, terminals, seaway corporations and shipyards based in Canada and the United States. The program focuses on working with participants to reduce environmental footprint by taking concrete actions.

The certification process is rigorous and transparent with results independently verified every two years. Each company’s individual performance is made public annually. To receive certification, participants benchmark their annual environmental performance through the program’s self-evaluation guides and have their results verified by an accredited external verifier.
