FRS Clipper Marks 40 Years with 1986 Throwback Pricing: $70 Seattle–Victoria Return
SEATTLE, WA, November 19, 2025 – SEATTLE, WA, November 18, 2025 – FRS Clipper, a leading fast-ferry and vacation-planning operator in the Pacific Northwest, is launching its 40th anniversary year with a Black Friday promotion that rolls fares back to 1986 prices.
Beginning November 24 at 9 a.m. PT, a limited number of seats on sailings between Seattle and Victoria, BC will be available for $70 USD when booked as part of a hotel and ferry package. The offer runs through November 30 or while supplies last.
“This Black Friday, we’re bringing back 1986 fares to make it easier for travellers to experience Victoria’s gardens, food scene, and outdoor adventures,” said Nik Coutinho, FRS Clipper’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “It’s the first step in a full year of anniversary celebrations, from special onboard experiences to new commemorative merchandise on both sides of the border.”
Victoria welcomes visitors year-round with signature experiences, including afternoon tea at historic hotels, The Butchart Gardens, whale watching on the Salish Sea, and a mild coastal climate that receives roughly 30 percent less annual rainfall than major Pacific Northwest cities.
Travel between downtown Seattle and Victoria’s Inner Harbour takes approximately two hours and forty-five minutes aboard the Clipper. The 2025 season runs through January 4. After a scheduled maintenance period, the 2026 season will begin March 5.
Seats at the $70 USD 40th-anniversary rate can be booked starting November 24 at 9am Pacific Time at clippervacations.com/BlackFriday2025. Eligible travel dates are December 1, 2025 through December 30, 2026. A limited number of seats are available and blackout dates apply.
