The Georgetown Morgue takes place in the Georgetown neighborhood, running from September 26 through November 2. If you dare, head to this site located where one of Seattle’s most disturbing unsolved crimes took place. Purchased by Charles and Henry Broughton in 1939, an earthquake killed Charles just a few years later. In 1968, a gruesome event then stole the life of Henry and several of his employees. They were allegedly forced into a crematory and burned alive. Today, the site serves as a rather terrifying haunted house. While kids are allowed with a parent, it’s so frightening it’s best left for the grown-ups.
