Safe Travel Guide Overview

Seattle to Victoria, BC Fast Ferry and International Travel Packages

We are now currently accepting bookings for our Seattle-Victoria fast ferry service beginning April 15, 2022 as well as overnight hotel packages. Please reach out via our Contact Us form with any questions (please also visit our FAQs page) and our FRS Clipper reservations team will assist you as quickly as possible. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding with slower than usual response times.

  • All valid travel credits have been extended through April 30, 2023.

Seattle to San Juan Island Fast Ferry Service | Whale Watching Tours

We are now accepting bookings and look forward to operating our Seattle to Friday Harbor fast ferry direct service as well as our Seattle to San Juans Whale Watching Day Trip that includes a stopover in Friday Harbor, WA and our half-day whale watching tour, starting April 29, 2022.

Change and Cancellation Travel Policy

Our current policies are as follows:

  • Standard Fare: Fully refundable for cancellations received 2 or more days prior to travel, non-refundable/non-changeable within 2 days.
  • Advance Fare: The reservation is non-changeable and all cancellations are non-refundable.
  • Hotel Cancellation Policy: Within 4 days before tour start date, the reservation is non-changeable and non-refundable.

When You Travel

As a measure of safe health and sanitation for our guests and agents, we have instituted the following health and safety protocols at both our Seattle and Victoria terminals and onboard our vessels:

Victoria Clipper V - Seattle Terminal

Mask Policy:

  • Masks are recommended while onboard to help protect our staff and crew, but not required. 
  • Masks are still required when guests are entering our Victoria terminal for Canadian customs processing. Thank you.

At Our Terminals:

  • Masks: recommended, but not required in Seattle. Required in our Victoria terminal.
  • Kiosk:  frequent cleaning and disinfecting of our outdoor ticket kiosk in Seattle.
  • Hand Sanitizer:  easily accessible and readily available hand sanitizer stations are located throughout our terminals.
  • Cashless Transactions:  only credit cards are accepted for payment at our terminals. 
  • Routine Cleaning Sweeps:  regular cleaning sweeps are conducted to maintain sanitation in our terminals. 

Onboard Our Vessels:

  • Hand Sanitizer:  easily accessible and readily available hand sanitizer stations are located throughout our terminals.
  • Fresh Air and ION Air Scrubber System:  The air filtration system cycles outside air onboard to fully refresh each cabin. Guests can enjoy additional fresh air by accessing the outside decks available on both of our vessels.
  • Electrostatic Sprayers:  In addition to traditional cleaning with high-level disinfectant, we sanitize our vessels with electrostatic sprayers that disinfect surfaces throughout the cabin as well as ozone cleaning nightly. This allows the disinfectant to wrap around and cling to curved and corner surfaces for additional protection. 
  • Hygienic Signage:  signage on our vessel is posted to remind crew and passengers of proper health, sanitation and social distancing measures.
  • Enhanced Cleaning:  crew conduct regular cleaning sweeps to maintain sanitation during the vessel’s journey and between legs of travel as well as deep cleaning and sanitization each night.
  • Cashless Transactions:  only credit cards are accepted for payment at our vessel galleys.
