CLIPPER VACATIONS HIRES TWO NEW MANAGERS

SEATTLE, Wash., Feb. 22, 2010 — Clipper Vacations is pleased to announce this month’s hiring of a new Product Manager and a new Sales Manager.

As Product Manager, Vicki Renne will be responsible for supplier contracts and other support for Clipper Vacations hotel and tour packages. Vicki comes to Clipper with experience in marketing and product management gained through working in the industry for the past 4 years.

Since 1986, Clipper has been offering passenger ferry service between Seattle and Victoria, BC. Shortly thereafter, the company also began selling accommodation packages for Seattle and Victoria. Since that time the program has expanded to include most of the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada, and Clipper Vacations has become known as the experts for booking travel in this area. Vicki will be responsible for not only maintaining supplier relationships but also for expanding the company’s product offerings.

Rodney Cubberly came to Clipper Vacations with a strong hotel sales background. He has lived and worked both in California and Seattle during the past 10 years. Although versatile, Rodney will be mainly focused on the convention and corporate market. Clipper Vacations has found that Victoria, BC is a popular travel destination for pre and post convention delegates and for corporate incentive events and employee and client appreciate trips. “I am enjoying learning more about the wide range of products offered by Clipper and having fun talking to my clients about all of the options”, said Rodney.
