Bald Eagle Skagit River Float Tour
View Bald Eagles in the wild as you raft down the calm waters of the Skagit River beneath the towering hills of the Cascade Mountains. Spawning Salmon means winter feeding for hundreds of eagles who migrate to the area to feed and in search for warmer weather. Your tour departs with a motor coach ride from Seattle to Marblemount, WA, located just 2.5 hours Northeast of Seattle, at the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Drift quietly by the eagles while enjoying comfortable rafts, with warm blankets (supplied) and hot chocolate served on board. As you drift down the lower Skagit, you will get the opportunity to watch the eagles perch in the cottonwood trees at the river's edge, just a few feet away. Be sure to bring your binoculars and camera.
You will float down the Skagit River for approximately 2.5 hours, where you will get the chance to spot Eagles in their own habitat, just feet away on the river banks. As you float, you'll enjoy a cup of hot chocolate will be served onboard to keep you warm, and learn about these amazing birds from your tour guide. Along the way you will be taken in by the amazing scenery that surrounds you in this tranquil setting. You will notice how the eagles become more numerous as you continue down the river and float into the Preserve, where you might even see several birds all on one tree! Itinerary
