The 2008 Abbotsford Airshow will be a thrilling sensation!  The USAF Thunderbirds are coming to show off what the F-16 Falcon can do.  Not to be outdone, our Canadian Forces Snowbirds will demonstrate some incredible manoeuvres with their 9-ship team.  The Skyhawks Parachute Team and the CF-18 Demo will amaze with incredible precision and intricate routines.  Civilian pilots Kent and Warren Pietsch will display the lighter side of aviation while the Red Eagle Squadron kicks it into high gear with their Christen Eagle aerobatic machines.  Warbirds big and small will be joining us from around the region both in the air and on the ground.

We'll Get you There in Comfort

Trip includes guide, comfortable motorcoach seats with other plane enthusiasts, runway seating and a breakfast basket as well. Our tour departs from the Museum of Flight, and includes admission to the show AND RUNWAY SEATING, Chairs provided. Suggestions to bring along: Hats, sunscreen, and binoculars. Food vendors will be on site. It is ok to bring food along, but remember fresh fruit and produce is not allowed across the border, and no alcoholic beverages are allowed at the air show. We will arrive in time for the major attractions, and stay 6 hours.

Depart Museum of Flight at 6:45am*
Depart Northgate Park & Ride at 7:25am
Opening Ceremonies:12pm
Main Flying Program: 12:15pm - 5:30pm
Departs Abbotsford Airport at 5:45 pm. Dinner stop en-route (on own)
Approximate arrival time at Northgate Park and Ride: 8:50pm
Approximate arrival time to the Museum of Flight: 9:20pm

*The bus will depart and return to the Museum of Flight Airpark parking, located across the Museum’s main campus on E. Marginal Way, behind the Library and Archives building. The parking lot can be accessed from East Marginal Way by turning West on South 94th Place (traffic signal) and following the signs to the lot.
